| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 chevy 2500hd truck with the parking brake problem. i notice by this web site that i'm not the only one. since i have a automatic transmission, it isn't covered under the recall. (#05v161000) i contacted my local dealer about the problem and they told me they won't touch it. they would touch it for about $1000.00. chevy knows they have a problem with this system, why don't they make it right with the persons that prefers chevy products. as of date below, i have a parking brake that is non-functional, even though it hasn't caused a crash, it is only a matter of time. *nm |
