Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving home on the highway doing about 50-55 and the transmission just went into 2nd gear so i had to drive 20 miles at about 35 mph. luckily there was no one around so there was no accident. at this point in time i haven't done anything to fix it except to have the codes read by a gm dealer and they didn't know what was wrong. i have found out that the shift solenoids are bad due to a failure in the plastic bracket that holds them in place. *jb |
