Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The main issue of concern is what i describe as surging, what i mean is the vehicle wants to go without any input from the driver. what i have determined is that the vehicle has a fluctuating idle rpm as opposed to a steady idle rpm and when the idle rpm drops below an acceptable level the computer sends a signal to kick the throttle and the vehicle then surges. i have reported this problem to my dealer and they responded by saying they couldn't verify the concern. a co-worker recently purchased the same vehicle type, engine transmission and so on and has reported the same issue to her dealer and was also told that the concern was not verifiable. *jb |
