Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact received a recall notice on the camshaft position sensor in september 2004. had not had any problems with the car. he did not have the recall repair work done. now ,the engine check light came on. the dealership to whom he took the car to in october 2005, stated that the parts do not match the ones that were subject to the recall of last year. the manufacturer was called, and they said that they were not going to fix the recall. *ak updated 11/16/2005 - when the diagnostic were ran on the vehicle the dtc came up p0342 for the camshaft position sensor. the consumer explained that this code was the same as the one on the recall notice. *nm
