Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer stated that the abs motor had broken. he then had to take the fuse out to shut the motor off. the consumer received a recall on the front wheel speed sensor for corrosion. the vehicle was taken to the and was fixed. the consumer thought that when the dealership performed the recall repair that it would fix the problem, however, the abs motor was still not working properly. the vehicle was driven for three months with the fuse out to the abs motor. the emergency brake and abs light had come came on when the consumer had taken the fuse out. a couple of months later the service engine light and service four wheel drive light had come on. the dealership said that this was not related to the abs motor. the consumer had not contacted the manufacturer. *ak (11/29/05) *sc |
