| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated there was a recall for the brakes on certain gmc vehicles, but this vehicle was not included. when applying the brakes the vehicle will not come to a complete stop. this only happened when he driving at slower speeds. when applying the brakes the abs will activate. the abs light was not illuminating and the rotors were not warped. a local mechanic inspected the vehicle, and said there was something wrong with the abs. the mechanic did not specify the exact problem of the abs. the dealer and manufacturer stated there was a recall, but this model was not included.*ak update 11/30/2005 - there is a recall for 1999 gmc trucks but not suburbans. *nm |
