| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated the engine died while pulling from a parking lot. she was unable to restart the vehicle. it was towed to a dealership service department. the water pump failed, and the timing chain broke. the problem occurred because of a sludge build up in the engine. the service dealer replaced the timing chain, the retention for the timing chain, water pump, and other parts in the area. the engine was also cleaned thoroughly. the check engine light came on previously. however, the dealership was unable to diagnose any problems at that time. *ak updated 01/04/06. *jb |
