| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My wife was stopped at a stop light and started to move up in traffic to close a gap between her and vehicle in front of her when the 2002 lincoln ls suddenly surged forward hitting the vehicle in front of her. brakes were applied but the vehicle continued to surge forward. she finally stopped the vehicle and then put the vehicle in reverse to back away from the vehicle in front of her. with her foot on the brake, the vehicle surged in reverse and hit the vehicle behind her. the vehicle sustained damage in both front and rear. vehicle was taken to lincoln dealership where they stated that the vehicles computer systems did not show a code. ford motor company was contacted by the vehicles owner. *jb |
