| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated that when applying brake pressure at low speeds the abs would activate followed by a rubbing noise. there was nhtsa recall 05v379000 involving the anti lock brakes. this vehicle had the same failure as indicated in the recall. however, this vehicle was not included in the recall due to vin. the vehicle was taken to a dealer for repairs. after the repairs were performed there have been no further problems. *ak the consumer was led to believe he would receive reimbursement. updated 11/29/05. *jb |
