| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My wife stepped on brake pedal to shift into drive the brake went to the floor, i went out to try it myself & got same result. after opening the hood i noticed master cylinder was at a 45 degree angle to the right, the bolt on the vacuum booster had snapped of which damaged the booster & pedal function. if this had happened during vehicle was in motion it could of had severe consequences. i notified isuzu of america to see if it was covered on our warranty they said no , i asked you don't want to do anything about a defect like this, the answer was still no. i find this disturbing since i am a auto body tech/appraiser and i felt you should be informed of this episode. any response would be help full thankfully she did not try and drive this car & i was at home to see it i have pictures , dealer has vehicle. here is the reps name & number john quilan 678-977-1287 . dealer number attn tom toppan (they have been great) 508-697-3113 . im not sure hwo this works so i will place it under defective equipment on original car. *jb |
