| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 1999 chevrolet tahoe (2dr, 4x4) had an abs sensor failure due to debris buildup which cased the abs to indicate a false wheel lock at low speeds on dry pavement. this failure is identical to the failures that prompted the canadian recall of gm suvs having this abs configuration. the dealership had to replace the hub and bearing assembly, and clean all of the abs sensors in order to stop the false triggering of the abs system. *nm |
