Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Lincoln issued a recall on some (80,000) 2001 lincoln ls vehicles, for the lower ball joint assembly that if not tightened to specifications it could possibly cause a crash. my vehicle a 2001 lincoln ls was not part of this recall issued. two mechanic's from neil lincoln dealership service dept. & another mechanic both told me that this is the same problem that was issued under a recall from lincoln for the 2001 ls. after contacting ford/lincoln & reporting the problem they told they could not look into possibly issuing another recall or changing to include any additional vehicles. i am hoping that possibly you can help me! thank you! *jb |
