| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Sudden loss of power steering and power brakes due to engine stalling. engine stalls while driving. event has occurred six times now. once right after i purchased the vehicle and then again at 7642, 9861, 11487, 11898 and 12,009 miles. i lost control of the vehicle during one event as the power loss occurred while i was turning a sharp corner. i went into the other lane of traffic but due to light traffic at the time this did not result in a crash. the local dealer says that they are aware of this problem but the factory hasn't provided a solution. i feel that it is only a matter of time before people are injured by this defect as the sudden loss of power steering can easily cause loss of control. *nm |
