Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1. installed pressure pro tpms prior to trip. checked tire pressure(with hand held gauge-new this year) prior to leaving camp ground (65 psi) and was in accordance with sidewall psi listing. all monitor pressures were identical to hand held pressure gauge. 2. just prior to entering the hampton roads bridge tunnel complex (at the va check station prior to getting on the bridge, rechecked each tire pressure with monitor, stepping through each tire and noting pressure on each. all were between 63 and 70 psi. i had been on the road at this time for about an hour. 3. between the little creek road exit and the tide water drive exit the monitor sounded off. by the time i got to the shoulder the monitor was still indicating 20 psi. i stood on the shoulder of i64 and watched the tire go flat. i still have the tire if you want to examine it. *jb |
