Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I took my 1999 chevrolet 1500 series pickup to a local dealer to get the recall on the front speed sensors fixed. the anti-lock brakes were activating every time i tried to stop the vehicle. they said they serviced the truck but when i picked it up the problem persisted. i took it back a second time and they told me that the right front hub assembly was bad. i took the truck to the mecanic i normally use and he put the hub in, the problem still persisted. i called general motors to report that the dealership didn't fix the problem, then told me to replace a part that wasn't defective. they did nothing, now i have a truck that i make a monthly payment on and is unsafe to drive as it will not stop. *nm |
