Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Ford 2001 expedition has random problem with uncontrolled throttle surge when stopping. started out happening once every 2 months and has degraded to once or twice a week. dealer has run full diagnostics and road tests but cannot find any problem. suspect bad computer because many things surge up at the same time (speedometer, tack, gauges). without foot on brake, surge would slam truck into whatever is in front of vehicle. *jb |
