Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The rear driver side power window failed. there was a loud pop and the window slid down and would not go back up. i talked to a mechanic and he said that this has happened quite often recently. he said the cable broke. it just takes a little tension and pop, it happens! i called the dealer and they said a new part costs $315! i called to see if there is an after market on this part and they said that you can get it for the front but not the rear door! it seems to me that buick knows that this power window part is faulty and cannot let out the rights to other manufacturers to produce this! this should be recalled on all 2000 to 2005 buick lesabres. *nm
