Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2003 gmc 3500 sierra with a duramax diesel engine. it is used recreational, and has under 30k miles, but is now 36 months old. this summer 1/2 of my fuel injectors failed and were replaced under warranty. i'm concerned there the rest of the injectors will fail, as has been frequently reported by owners sharing concerns on various online forums. i am additionally concerned that this failure will occur after my warranty expires. i would like to request that the injector issues be researched for 2003 duramax engines, and that a recall be issued to update vehicles with new injectors that don't exhibit the same flaws/failures, or request that the engine warranty be extended to 200,000 miles as was done on the 2001-02 models. the date of this incident is estimated. *jb |
