Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact states the battery leaking acid. the battery was located in the passenger's compartment. this caused a hole in the vehicle. the contact and wife sustained injuries. he burned his sinuses when removing the battery. the fumes caused the contact's wife skin to dry out and flake off from her neck to feet. the manufacturer offered to repair the hole after he paid for an evaluation. the contact repaired the hole himself. he went to the service department to purchase a new battery, but they would no install it because the battery was located in the passenger's compartment. *ak updated 12/27/2005. *nm |
