| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact states had recall work completed, and the dealer discovered the rotors were severely corroded, and the brake pads needed to be replaced. the recall work was completed under nhtsa recall campaign 05v379000, concerning the anti-lock brakes. the service dealer suggested the metal contained in the rotors was defective. while the dealer acknowledged the fact that rotors should have a life span of more than 14,000 miles they refused to offer a free replacement. therefore, the rotors and brake pads have not been replaced. the contact felt the recall should be expanded to include replacement of the corroded rotors. *ak updated 09/05/07 *tr |
