| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact states there is a nhtsa recall campaign 05v379000 concerning the abs anti-lock brakes. this vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall, but is not included in the recall due to vin. as a result of the defect the contact's vehicle was involved in an accident. while pulling into the driveway the abs engaged and the vehicle went through the garage door. there was property damage, but no one sustained injuries. when the insurance company was contacted they told the contact that the police would not come to the scene of the accident since the accident occurred on the contact's property.*ak updated 02/24/06 |
