| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2002 gmc sierra 1500 ext cab pickup failed safety inspection due to the parking brake not holding. it has 66000 miles on it. i rarely use the brake living on flat land. this is a common problem according to the inspector requiring appx. $180 to repair. gmc has a service advisory to replace a part that should solve the problem but why does the consumer have to pay for a failed safety item? *jb |
