| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a used 1999 chevrolet silverado 4wd in july and around sept of this year i had trouble breaking in low mph situations such as stop signs, lights and in parking situations where the abs would trigger on dry clean pavement causing many close calls where i almost rear ended vehicles or ran into buildings ect. there is a recall on this particular problem in "salt using states" which ironically does not include wisconsin or minnesota. the recall# is 05068 regarding wheel speed sensors in years 99 thru 02 models. *jb |
