| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated while driving there was flickering and clicking coming from the dashboard. all of the lights went out and the vehicle began to idle. although the vehicle went into gear, it would not move when the contact took foot off the brakes. the vehicle was towed to a mechanic , who replaced the electronic control module (ecm). the vehicle was then towed to the dealership to have the computer reprogrammed. prior to this incident, there were other components replaced on the vehicle which the dealership stated were related to the aforementioned failure. also, the dealership stated that there may be other problems with the vehicle. however, the ecm needed to be replaced before they could be diagnosed. *ak |
