| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated while driving at 55 mph heard a loud exploding sound coming from the engine. the vehicle stalled, but he was able to pull off the road. the hood was opened to check the engine. and when the oil filter was removed, the contact discovered a hole in the side of the engine in the size of a quarter. the manufacturer was contacted, who advised the contact to have the vehicle towed to the dealer for inspection. the dealer would not inspect the vehicle without payment first because the vehicle was not under warranty. the vehicle has not been repaired due to the excessive cost. before this incident there were no problems with the engine. *ak |
