| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated a child safety seat installer had a problem with several carriers, the plastic red hook that attaches to the base was not properly latching. this particular child seat was currently installed in the rear of the vehicle by using the lap belt without the base attached. the contactwas concerned that the carrier and base combination would fail in the event of an accident. the manufacturer was contacted in an attempt to obtain a replacement seat but no assistance was offered because of the age of the seat. *ak |
