| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Gm recall for hub bearing areas and abs activation. i went to the chevy dealer in florida bob taylor and service advised us the repairs were not necessary in florida. they did not inquire where the vehicle was located etc. we had to insist the recall repair be done. they did not even want to inspect. with our insistence it was done. how many vehicles have been turned away without inspection by this dealer. it is not up to the driver to decide on a recalls necessity. we complied but with dealer indifference. i am concerned about other individuals who would not have the legal background to insist. they will be told they did not comply when they did. no record would be kept of the dealer discouraging the service and the defense if this is linked to an accident is that they did not get the repair/inspection. this may not be the spot to notice but i am concerned to have this occur. *nm |
