Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: There was no event leading up to this failure. the battery and charging system are operating as per spec. factory ac/delco battery supplied with new 2003 chevrolet spontaneously started leaking liquid acid from the casing surrounding the anode. the acid drained onto surrounding vehicle parts and ground. i removed the battery, cleaned the affected parts and installed a new battery. i retained the original defective battery for inspection. *jb
