Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Abs failure almost caused the vehicle to wreck, several times. failure has occurred on several occasions, once in the last 4 months ($800) and now again, i have spent $$ to fix the hdc, tc, abs lights that keep coming on and causing the abs system to stop working. the abs modulator on 99 lr disco ii's i found out is defective, later models have shuttle valves that do not stick. lr will not replace it, and the part is $1,800. i'm tired of throwing money at a truck we spent over $50k to purchase, and cannot use! *nm |
