Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Vehicle battery in 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo was changed 3 times in the span of 9 months due to battery loosing power. in june 2005, the 4th battery in the vehicle lost power. purchased new diehard suv battery and installed. on nov. 8, 2005, the vehicles electrical system caught fire causing the battery to explode and cause over $4,000 in damages. wife fears for her life and life of 2 y/o and 6 y/o who are transported in vehicle to babysitter and school on a daily basis. *nm
