| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The rear coil spring (driver side) is broken. previously i heard an occasional scratching sound (mostly in reverse), then while driving something started dragging. before i could stop and check, something fell off and the dragging noise stopped. the car was serviced today (oil change) and asked the mechanic to check to see if the corrosion shields (safety recall) installed on the coil springs had become loose or had fallen off. mechanic discovered broken coil spring. *jb |
