| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have had 4 goodyear marathon s trailer tires fail due to tread separation in the last 3 years. tread separation has occurred while traveling at 60-65 mph on the interstate. two of the tires separated within a 2 month time period. i maintain the air pressure at 65 psi cold as imprinted on the tire. my trailer is a 30 ft. sunnybrook and is with in the gvrw as well as each tire weight rating. i have contacted goodyear and currently am awaiting a claim. goodyear has stated that there is no defect. several other members of our camping club have had the same problem with the marathon s tires. *nm |
