| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Problems with the front end of a brand new 2006 mitsubishi fuso fe-145. this could be a safety hazard as front end of vehicle grabs - slides - skips sideways after stopping and then starting out while turning. this occurs after extended periods of highway driving. mine started prior to 2000 miles and has gotten worse. mechanics have checked the front end but have never experienced the great degree of the problem - as time - long periods of highway driving seems to manifest the problem. they say it's the tires. no way is this problem just the tires ! if it is, the tires are no good and should be replaced by the manufacturer. i have been told by a mitsubishi dealer that the treads on the tires are too "agressive a tread" for a steering tire. but, really, this problem is much, much more than could ever be caused by any tire. something else is wrong. but no one will take the time or make the effort to tell me what it really is. as mentioned, mechanics have felt only slight symptoms of the problems - it gets very, very bad at times. *jb |
