| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 chevrolet silverado 1500 pickup 12/30/05 i called to make an appointment for the abs recall. 12/31 the abs light on the dash came on. the dealer completed the recall work and stated the abs light was an "active failure" code in the computer and was not related to the recall. repair of this fault was estimated $1,400-1900. i have also paid to have the fuel gauge fixed. it went from empty to full at random and has been reported as a common problem but has not been recalled. *jb |
