Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have experienced complete battery failure twice on my new ford mustang. the local ford dealers service department cannot give me a good explanation as to what is causing this problem. they told me that my car was not being driven enough. this is no answer. they tried to sell me an under the hood power disconnect apparatus. i said no as this would make me reset all of my radio and clock settings every time i disconnected the battery. i don't dare leave my car idle for any length of time as this will probably lead to another power failure. my car only has 1,100 miles on it and it has had to be towed twice to the dealer to have a new battery installed. no new car should have this problem. *jb |
