| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: There has been a recall issued for 2000-2002 tahoe for front wheel speed sensor corrosion (product safety recall 05068) from gm. this should have also included the 1999 tahoe. this abs issue is currently happening to my tahoe. its been occurring since the middle of 2005. i heard of the upcoming safety recall back in august 2005. but when i took my 1999 tahoe to the dealership, they stated my vin# was not on the list for recalls. when i looked deeper into this recall, it only includes 2000-2002 tahoe. i know of this happening on another 1999 tahoe sport. it would be nice to have gm expand the recall coverage to include all 1999 tahoe. *jb |
