Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact stated while driving at 3 to 5 mph the contact's vehicle was hit on n the side by another vehicle pulling from a driveway. the driver and passenger seat belts failed to lock when the impact occurred. the contact sustained injuries to the nose, requiring surgery. the vehicle was towed to the local dealer. today, the dealer placed the vehicle in an accident simulator in order to test the seat belts. the results showed the seat belts were working properly and did not lock because of the speed at the time of the accident. the dealer determined the seat belts should have locked at a speed of 25 mph. *ak |
