| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1. purchased car used in february 2005. fan broke off in july 2005. ran air daily in summer, no problems, then one day it just made a popping noise. there were pieces of the plastic fan on the ground, and a piece still under the hood. 2. i have a warranty, but it does not cover this vehicle. it overheats if i idle too long because there is no fan. to purchase a fan shroud from a jeep dealer costs $370-400, not including labor. 3. have not replaced fan/fan shroud yet.*ak |
