Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While on mycarstats.com i noticed other complaints in regards to my 2000 gmc jimmy jumping into 4 low. one person was told by the dealership this could not happen at a stop sign but it happens with mine a lot. the odd thing is we have noticed it happens the most frequently when the humidity is very high. if you are lucky enough to hear it switching you can try to continue moving and pushing the 2wd button frantically. if you aren't lucky enough to catch it, the vehicle has to be stopped completely, put in reverse and push the 2wd button continuously. other times vehicle has to be shut completely off?? i too agree there is a safety issue with this when you can't go any faster than 5 mph or need to put your car in reverse at a stop sign!!*jb |
