| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The problem occurred suddenly when i noticed a constant humming noise coming from under the driver's side door. i also noticed the abs and brake lights were on. i called craig smith auto group, a chevy dealership. the tech that inspected my truck said there was a problem with the abs module & motor and both needed replaced. he quoted me a price of $2856.00 for the repair. i asked if it would be covered under my extended warranty & he said it was not covered. so as a temporary fix so the battery would not go dead, he pulled the abs fuse. still as of today, the part has not been replaced because of the high cost. i also did research online & found many complaints with the same issue happening. *jb |
