| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the abs engaged at speeds of 10mph and below. the stopping distance was increased as a result. there is a nhtsa recall, #05v379000, regarding the abs system. the vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the vin. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for inspection, but the contact verbally spoke on the phone to the local dealership. although, the dealer informed the contact the vehicle was in a salt belt state, the weather may have contributed to the problem, no repairs were made. |
