| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While stopping at slow speed, my anti-lock brakes activated on my 1998 gmc yukon causing me to narrowly miss an accident. the system would do this at least once a day with no warning. i had the vehicle repaired - the corrosion was removed from under the brake sensors. months later i saw gm issue a recall on this issue but vehicle years were from 1999-2003 not including 1998. i called gm and they refused to cover my 1998 under the recall even though the parts are identical in the braking system between a 1998 and 1999. *jb |
