| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 70 mph, the brake pedal was applied, but the vehicle did not slow down. there was a beeping noise and the abs light illuminated. the vehicle hit a pole and rolled over 5 times. the driver side front made impact with the pole, but the airbags did not deploy. the seatbelt was worn, but the contact sustained a fractured shoulder, hip, pelvis and 3 ribs. there was a police report taken at the scene. the insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. there is a nhtsa recall, # 02v022000, regarding the antilock brakes. the vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however, it is not included in the recall due to the vin. |
