| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Abs brakes fail at low speeds, making it impossible to stop. took it to the dealer (2-20-2006) with a recall relating to the abs brake system, and was told the recall didn't cover the problem with the truck. i was told if i had $1,100 to replace the ebcm motor relay circuit, that would solve the problem. i have found with only minimal research, there's a lot of folks out there with the same truck, or similar trucks having the same problem. this is an extremely dangerous situation in heavy traffic, the truck will not stop!! i have had to remove the abs fuse, and completely disable the abs system, in order to make this vehicle safe to drive. *jb |
