Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 6 months after purchasing a brand new 2004 chevrolet colorado zq8 3.5l extended cab i noticed while driving on the highway wind noise coming from the passenger door as if the door was not completely closed. 2 months later and it was so loud i had to turn my radio over half volume just to listen to my radio. i had the truck seen by the dealership which i bought it and they said that the cause was misaligned. the b4000 door assembly front right align 9635 w5 0.30. they adjusted the door and for 2 months there was no wind noise. the problem keeps occurring needing alignment. i also have a problem with the screws coming loose on the driver side door causing a metal binding sound everytime i open and close the door. each time i open and close the door the screws are loose enough to were i can hand tighten them. i also had a computer problem in this vehicle as well. a year after having my vehicle out of nowhere and no warning my truck would not start. it would crank over but would not start. i had it towed to the dealership and the invoice states: scan computer codes p2610 stored in pcm. mandy codes stored in bcm. ran bulletin search. found pcm failure replace pcm. reprograms and clear codes recheck ok. however since the new computer was placed in the truck the alarm light will come on and stay on every once in a while. *nm |
