Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I took my truck to island chevrolet for the antilock recall and i mentioned about the recall for the air bags on the chevrolet tahoe 2000 because my air bag light has been on. i was told my 2000 tahoe is not on the recall because it was the model made later in the year. but when they put the truck on the diagnostic they found it had right & left side deployment loop resistance low. they were going to charge me $800.00 and since i had to fix my 4 wheel drive also i could not afford it. but it seems to me that the recall should be extended to the later models of 2000 also. i know of a couple of people that also have this problem and they also have the later 2000 model. *nm |
