| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2005 tacoma prerunner has a pop or thump that occurs when there is an acceleration for a dead stop and then also a thump when there is a deceleration. it can be felt in the cab as though there is a space between the cab mounting bolts and the frame i.e., not tight enough and causes the cab to lift forward and up when stopping or the opposite when accelerating. have taken it to toyota of manhattan beach, ca., they tightened the bolts and it was better but is now back as it was in before. *nm |
