| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a 1998 intrepid (v6 2.7l) in feb. of 2005. in oct. 2005 while driving, the vehicle began to make a loud noise coming from the engine. i parked the car immediately. the next day as a preventative measure, i had an unscheduled oil change done. within one week, the engine began to knock and the motor was blown. i have priced repairs, and just a used engine alone is $2000 to $3500. *jb |
