Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased a brand new vehicle in october of 2005 a 2006 mitsubishi evolution mr. around late december of 2005 the clutch would not go into 6th gear. i notified the dealership from where i purchased the vehicle of the problem and made an appointment's get it checked out. the day before i was to take the car to the dealership the clutch completely failed this was on january 26 of 2006. i had it towed to the dealership and after a few days the dealership notified me that i was at fault for the way i drove the car. i explained my situation of the problems i was having with the clutch to the dealership and mitsubishi headquarters. they found i was at fault. i called the fresno b of automotive repair and they investigated my claim about the clutch. fb of ar said they could not do nothing because the clutch is not a warranty item for mitsubishi. so i purchased an aftermarket clutch that the dealership installed and said everything was good. i picked up the car and the clutch would still not go into 6th gear. i notified the dealership of the continuing problem and told me that their technician said everything was fine, i took the car the very next day and the dealership confirmed my claim. they kept the car for a few days and told me that they believe it was a synchro in the transmission and replaced it after a few days. a few more days passed and i called the dealership as to what was going on with my car. they told me that my clutch is now stuck on 2nd gear and don't know why that is. i took the car january 28,2006 to the dealership and it is now march 28,2006 and the dealership does not know what is wrong with the car or when i will get it back. *jb
