| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Taupe impression seat cloth absorbs and transfers color from material under seat when cloth becomes wet. for instance when something is spilled and trying to clean in accordance with instructions in gm owners manual it says to clean with water using damp cloth. the dealer also supplies cleaner and says to use cleaner with water as cleanup for spills. the color transference will stain other cloth and spots the seat above. the dealer had to use professional cleaner and still was unable to fully remove all stains from the color transfer. not sure if these are hazardous chemical transfers or not. dealer also had to replay scotch guard type chemical after attempts to clean seats, but spots still reappeared. dealer was to investigate with other dealers, but never heard back. contacted gm and they contacted dealer and they said they had done all they could do. *jb |
